Menulog - Easy, fast, yummy!

[Sponsored Post]

It's the uni finals season again! I bet most of the students out there are busy studying and preparing for their final exams!

Last minute studies and revision can be SUPER tiring, and you always tend to forget what time it is of the day! No matter how caught up I am, I always remember to have my main meals. This semester though, I am being extremely lazy! Couldn't think of what to cook and sometimes you just don't feel like it :(

But fret not, hungry people, Menulog can help save your grumbling tummies!

Have you heard of Menulog before? It is Australia's #1 take away and food delivery site. It lists all the takeaway restaurants that deliver to your suburb or city! I've heard about the website from many friends since I came here, apparently it is faster and more efficient if you order takeaways via the Menulog website or smart phone app. The service is entirely FREE, you just have to pay for your food!

So here's how to order via the website.

#1 Type in your suburb / postcode

At the main page when you enter the site, key in your suburb or postcode so that the website could filter the restaurants that are available for your area.

#2 Pick a Restaurant

There will be a list of restaurants for you to choose from. You can opt to refine your search by adding in personal preferences. First time ordering was no hassle for me. The website shows the special deals for each restaurant, and also customer ratings. They also list down the minimum for delivery. I also checked the location of the restaurant in this case. I didn't want to eat cold pizza!

Once you picked the restaurant that you wished to order from, the menu will appear and you can pick whatever you like :)

I chose a restaurant called 800 Degrees which I always passed by on my ride home but never got to try their food!

For Adelaide CBD, you can find the list of restaurants here.

Some of the restaurants offer delivery/pick up meal deals, and discounts on your first order. You can also opt for delivery or pick up at the right-hand side bar.

#3 Place Your Order!

After you picked out what you feel like having, you can immediately place your order! The side bar will show the total amount and you can proceed to check out. Paying the bill is easy as pie! You can choose to pay by cash, card or even Paypal, depending on the restaurant :)

The website also allows you to key-in your preferred delivery time, so you can actually order your meal in advance and have it delivered to your doorstep! How convenient is that?!

#4 Wait for Your Meal!

After your order is done, you will be directed to a confirmation page like this. A SMS confirmation will also be sent to your mobile.

Now isn't that easy? Just a few clicks and food will be at your place in no time!

I arranged the delivery time to be at 6.00PM and food came on time! *rejoices*

Feeling hungry?

I'm having my very first give-away on this blog!

Menulog will be giving ONE of my readers a $50 voucher to spend on the website. You can pick from ANY restaurant listed in your area! I'd like you guys to have a great dining experience from Menulog, like how I did!

The give-away is open to anyone here in Australia :) Just simply answer a question that I am really curious about:

When is your favourite time to order takeaway, and why?

My answer would be during the exam season, simply because I need food to destress!

  • ONE account, ONE entry only. But I am happy to hear from your friends too! If you know of friends who will be interested in participating, let them know about the give-away.
  • The winner will be picked on FRIDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2014, 9.00 PM (GMT +10.30).
  • An e-mail will be sent to the winner (do not participate anonymously! Leave your details for me to contact you), and given 48 hours to respond.
  • A voucher code will be sent to you, and you can order away!!
  • The voucher will be for single use only, delivery only. If there are any outstanding balance, it has to be paid by credit card.
  • The voucher with be valid for one month after winner selection.
