Siaw's (early) birthday outing

To my readers (if you consider yourself one): I have deleted the chatbox at my sidebar due to the overload of spam comments from inconsiderate people. So please don't stop leaving comments about my posts!! You can leave comments at the bottom of every post and I promise to read them! Thank you love you!

ALAS! The long anticipated blog post! (Okay like anyone reads it). Have been dragging to post this up for many reasons. One, I have been going through sleepless nights because I am worried about my future education. Telling everyone that I'm going to form six is pretty damn easy, for a liar like me. Yes, I can lie easily and I convinced everyone that I'm going to form six, problem is I cannot convince myself. Is it just me? Or my brain? Or my heart? I have this itch and I really don't feel like going into form six. I just feel that I can do more than that. No offense but I really do respect those who take up form six because I believe that STPM is harder than any other pre-U and only geniuses can pass with flying colours. But for me, it's not just the thing.

Anyways, I got the offer letter for form 6 but failed to get into the matriculation in Labuan. Sad? Not really. I just applied because everyone in class was applying and now I am in relief because if I didn't get form six I would have nothing else to do for the rest of my life (since I don't know when I will make up my mind for my next step. Help me.) Am saying this because some of my friends who wanted to go to form six for the time being (before any other courses start) didn't get the offer instead they got the offer for matriculation. Imagine if I was one of them I would have MORE sleepless nights. And I don't want that please.

Okay, back to the main topic. Went out with Siaw, Shnwei and Marie during April 10th (it was a public holiday) in conjunction of Siaw turning 18. She is finally able to call herself the 'legal' Kim Sun Ah. It was only us four who went for karaoke because the rest could only join us for dinner.

*My neck hurts OWWW

Siaw treated us to a 2 hour singing marathon which almost cost me my voice and my eardrums LOL Sad to say that the songs available were vast in choice BUT mostly outdated HAHAHA I guess I sang a lot of Abba songs. We didn't finish singing our Jay Chou songs because our time was up and it was such a bummer!!!

 Shnwei, looking like Phineas/Ferb HAHAHA

Kim Sun Ah without Lee Dong Wook =  singing a sad love song about how they can never be together, forever. hahahaha

After the 2 hours we didn't want to get out of the room (because they didn't let us finish singing Jay Chou. We just heated up okay) and so we decided to cam whore LOL

Walked around in CP and Warisan until I got really restless and we left at 5 something to Upperstar, Lintas. Sakai I have never been there before and I don't think I will go back there if I have a choice hehehe. Went to Yoyo after that.

Karee, Pae Yii, Huang and Audrey who joined us for dinner and dessert!

Yup, that's all and I just missed the re-run of Rooftop Prince because of this post. Damn.

Random schmandom

I am blogging I Shnwei's office. Bahaha

Right now I am waiting for students to come and for the agents to start getting busy so I can start getting busy also, serve coffee and run around in the office. Whee! Basically I just decided to stay back after my meet with the agent because I had nothing to do today on a Saturday morning/ afternoon.

An update about my future education -.- well, basically I still haven't decided what course I would like to take, and I think I would be going into form six, and postpone my national service. Have I told you guys already....?

Memory loss.

Okay I think I am bored so that's why I'm blogging like this. Whyyyy. Okay better go off now hahaha bye!

Where has it gone?

When I was 13, I had my first love I found my love for photography. It wasn't something I was obsessed with, but I just enjoyed snapping pictures of family and friends and the things I see in my daily journey. I took pictures of mostly the people I hang out with, the food I ate, and also events in church. Although I must say that I do not have any professional skills or special talents, but I still enjoyed every moment snapping and looking through the pictures.

A few years later, a lot of people starting to put interest in photography. That is where the frenzy began. From chunky DSLRs, overpriced lenses and films, photoshops. Everyone was hanging a chunky camera over their neck, and shooting as they go.

That didn't happen for me. I started with a very old Olympus Digital Camera, which my dad bought when I was around 9. It's nothing fancy but I did enjoy taking pictures with it. And it eventually rested it soul because of its reckless owner who always drains its battery. whoops.. Later on I was blessed with a Canon Powershot 120iS. Camera which I cherish a lot (because pa bought it for me! YAY!) and I am using it up till today.

I think my love for photography has slowly faded away, with the wind. (what is this?!) I mean after the DSLR frenzy I think I slowly "ran away" from the hobby. It's my 'when I like something, and then a lot of people start to like it, then I'll hate it' kind of thing. Happens all the time to me, alright. I just don't want to do what everyone does. Get what I mean? I think that is the reason that I haven't been actively taking pictures. That, and I have been very lazy and busy for the past 2 years.

So since I have nothing to do before school starts (I don't even know what school, what course I want to take or when school starts. Total failure over here, hello.), should I start trying to pick this thing up again? Since I have nothing to do and I should do something that is more productive (Sitting at home watching Food Network doesn't count). I should also start using my brain before it turns into a big chunk of rusted steel. Oh yeah. Right now it is 78.99% rusty. I can smell it from here...

Okay, I'll give it a try!

A picture I took back in 2008.
Somehow I really love this picture. For no reason (and it's nothing special. Other people can do it a hundred times better). but I just love it.

Red Soul

It all started with this...

Fans are probably going to bash me if I said I didn't know who they were and still go to the showcase. So okay, I KNEW who they were, what they do, and where they're from. The thing is I didn't know their name. It's true! When I first listened to Big Bang I didn't know the group was called Big Bang. All I knew was that there were 5 guys and their song was very very nice and they're from Korea. I think I came to knew that they were Big Bang when one of my friends showed me a picture of them and told me they sang this song and that song. Then I went, 'OH SO THEY'RE CALLED BIG BANG!'. If it wasn't for my friends (and the internet) I would end up like Patrick from Spongebob Squarepants. I literally live under a rock.

At the mention of 'Star King', I googled for their appearance on Star King. I watch (outdated) Star King episodes on tv and normally I get really stunned by the performances. The reason I like Star King so much is because the variety is so vast. Singing, dancing, magic shows, people who make sausages and the oldest grandpa they can find in Korea, can be seen on that stage.

So this is their video. I have also watched this episode on tv and once I re-watched them on this video MEMORIES CAME BACK AND I WAS LIKE, "OHHHH!!!!"

So I googled more of their performances...

and their Malaysia greeting!

MY GOODNESS!! Die die also wanna go watch.

So last Thursday Shnwei and I drove down to Party Play to get our tickets! We paid Rm50 each for a ticket and album. We decided to pay more since the RM30 one includes a ticket and a poster. A POSTER?! What you expect I do with a poster?? Stick it on the wall?! At least I can listen to the album in the car or something WHAT CAN I DO WITH A POSTER?!?!?! Aaaand you can listen to the album over and over again (like I always do with my other albums). They sing so nice lagi.

Okeh. Mind you that my pictures are all blurry with a lot of noise and their eyes look like cyclops because my camera too old.

Shnwei and I arrived Party Play at 7pm on the night of the event (which was yesterday, April 15 2012. You must remember this!) The showcase starts at 8pm so we decided to have dinner there and also, to grab some good seats. We chose our seats and then we went into the restaurant and asked for 2 seats (for dinner). Then the waiter said they are fully booked so both of us were like, @#$%^&*()

But then he told us that those who bought tickets to Red Soul can have dinner at the other side. It was a buffet-style set up so we were quite blur and later he told us that it's inclusive.

embarrassment much?

So both of us laughed while walking out and went back to our seats zzz

This is dinner! Quite nice lah. Probably because I was hungryyy

So after dinner, the show begins!!! First up were opening acts by local Sabahan artistes.

First one up was Jonathan Tse.
He sang two of his songs, and ended with Moves like Jagger.
After the whole thing he came to say hi LOL outside Party Play.
To read my blog post about his showcase in my church last year, click here

Halfway during his performance Red Soul came in from behind the stage and the crowd was high!! But then very kesian also because the audience ditched the person on stage and began to focus attention on Red Soul.

Alvin MY (also known as Ranau Boy) on stage with Red Soul's beatboxer, Kang In Chang

Jade Sisters.

One of the Jade Sister singing 'Lucky' with Red Soul.
GAAAAH would faint on stage if I were her and the dude even put his arms over her shoulder!!!
The guy with the zebra shirt is Kim Kihyun, who is a vocalist in the group, and he also played the piano and guitar.

He also said that Shnwei was cute during the autograph session!!!!
And now Shnwei bias him LOL

Introducing themselves.
Shnwei's bias and her ex-bias.
I'll tell you more about it later.

The beatboxer, In Chang, Tae Ik Jun and Hwang Tae Ik.

Fans with their fan boards . Now in 2012, they upgraded to electronic fanboards LOL

So they sang songs from their first album, Stay. The lyrics of the songs were so simple but yet so sophisticated and sweet. Played it in the car for 2 times already and am loving it! Apart from their songs they also did covers and also a 2011 pop medley.

Shnwei and I were not so high at first and then she gave me the, 'I cannot fangirl' say but then we ended up standing on our chairs!!! I was high when they started to sing Blue by Big Bang and then double high during Fantastic Baby. AND THEN I TRIPLE HIGH ALMOST PASS OUT HIGH HIGH HIGH WHEN THEY SANG HANDS UP DURING THE MEDLEY!!!!!

I mean, not many people sing 2pm okay -.-

And the girls who were sitting beside were also high so we HIGH-ed together LOL!!!!

Lee Hanulyi
He was Shnwei (and my) initial bias for one reason - He was the cutest in the group.
But then later he broke all our hearts when he showed his true colour - He was a playboy ROFL
During their performances he walked down the stage and touched like, 3 girls' hands?!?!?!
He even held one hand to his chest you know?!?! Skinship to the max!!!
So we all sad lah LOL

Super fans who were sitting in front.
I sat behind and I don't call myself a fan. LOL. I call myself 'one that appreciates their music'

but I do have a bias in the group.. (but I still don't qualify as a fangirl)

Tae Ik Jun!! (FYI he's standing in front of himself LOL)
So initially I told Shnwei I bias this guy because he sounds very good and that no one will bias him because he looked funny in the poster. Then Shnwei asked me to pick out the cute on so I choosed Lee (who is in the white tee). Then Lee is really good looking then I switched to liking Lee. But then I realised that a lot of girls in the crowd were swooning for Lee, so I ditched him and went back to Ik Jun! (and this whole thing happened within 1 hour? Oh my..)

So after singing they went down stage and the crowd was begging for an encore so they came back up. I guess they were really feeling the KK heat. They were all soaked and their hair were wet!! They rapped the night with a famous Boys II Men song and left us all happy.

But I think they were really tired and hot after that! You can see it from here...

and here
I'm not making fun of them but they were really looking like as if they were going to pass out!

After that was the autograph session.
Us outside lining up and them inside. Me stalking LOL

The boys were really really kind but sadly we didn't take any pictures with them!!!! WHYYYYY!!!! We didn't know that we were allowed anyways so, ahh... forget it. But I did shake all of their hands!! ALL OF THEM!! I was like, 'Hi' while they were signing the album then they said hi back. Then I shocked them with, 'can I get a handshake?' LOL

Most of them were stunned but then I DON'T CARE!! As long as I get the handshake!!! *satisfied. The beatbox dude even said I was tall LOL

Shnwei getting her album signed.

Me album!!
and me messy hair -.-

Dream high

I didn't watch Dream High 2, but I did catch up on their performances and songs online. They were great, but none of them could replace my favourite scene from Dream High (which I haven't finished watching. Stopped when Taec kissed Suzy and somehow the files on my computer were gone. #sad)

I just like it because (:

Just a quick update on my daily routine.

Every morning I waste my time by waking up at 10am. I don't eat breakfast.
In the afternoon I have lunch and then waste more time. The only productive thing I do is pick up my brother from school.
In the evenings I have dinner and watch tv with my family, telling them I did nothing that day.
I go to bed at 11 and the cycle continues.

I must say that I AM SUCH A FAILURE.

But let me be that way for one more month... then I'll go to school like a kid again. *pinky swear.

Oh yeah, one proud thing that I must proclaim to blog readers (like I have any ='(((()
I have finally done my e-banking! HOORAY!!

*and I can feel crows flying above my head. GAA-GAA-GAAK

Anyways, I've found the joy of Online Shopping, and I am going nuts!

Beach Party to end March

Went down to the beach last Saturday for Marie's beach party. I can proudly say that I do not go to beach often, because I like getting into the water but adults tell me that the water is very dirty in KK beaches, so to avoid disappointment I don't go to beaches here. I love the beach in Kudat though. The water there is actually blue, feels like you're in paradise there. As for Tanjung Aru Beach, I picture a lot of people with tents and barbeque pits, sand flies and poop floating on the water. yuck.

The party was supposed to start at 2pm, left the house around 1.45 and surprisingly a lot of our classmates were already there. Trouble was that beach two was so crowded it was hard to find a parking, and when I found one the people there didn't want to let me park into that lot. They kept walking behind my car how to reverse?!? If I was evil I would have banged all of them at one go..

Marie arrived late with the barbeque pit so we started the fire at around 2.45? At that time it was really hot and I was really hungry (no lunch) so I kennot tahan and went to dip in the water. (You see? When I see water, I must go in one)

Friends who helped start the fire.
I do not know how to set one up so these are the lifesavers =D

Those like me, camwhored

Early starters. Already wet

Dabbing sunblock before hitting that massive sun.
To be honest I wanted to get tanned but failed. No sunburn at all man. =(

So after getting ourselves wet we headed back to the sand to get some food. I only ate a fishball and a sausage, drank half a cup of cola and then I went back to the water again. LOL. Then they had a crazy idea to bury me in sand.

Only half-managed to bury my legs. I can't do the whole body thing because it was so ticklish!!! ngai

After that we buried Rodney, Nigel and Gerald in the same grave.

what you doing?

Gerald couldn't get out of the grave. So we had to re-bury him. Also added some 'features' LOL

Sandball fight?? These are times I wanna hide myself in the water =O

I like this picture but I'm not in it D:
